Craig Ferguson Memorial Fund

You're probably reading this because you have learned that our dear Crybaby Craig (yes he liked that nickname so much he had it painted on a toolbox) has passed away at just 41 years old. Many of us are wading through a thick fog of emotions with this news. At the center of that fog is deep devastation shared by you all (his community) as well as his mother, father, sisters, brother-in-law, niece and nephews and his 16-year-old son Connor whom I'm the mother to.

If you've never been tasked with writing a summary like this, count yourself fortunate. The contrast between grieving and organizing the practicalities following someone's passing is undeniably cruel. Yet, embracing vulnerability is a radical act, and showing care for those in our community is an expression of radical love- so here we are.

Craig exemplified vulnerability throughout his life, even through the rough times he held on to meaningful connections in friendship and beyond. I know because of how many folks have reached out to ask what Connor may need. Thank you.

So, we are making this Gofundme to help Craig's son, Connor as he navigates his path forward, mainly around building his long-term success with education and a career, which is shaping up to include pursuits in the tech world and welding – passions he shares with his dad.

I know many of you are hurting right along with us, we can feel the collective pain each time someone reaches out. We are hoping to have a memorial in the coming weeks so please stay tuned. In the meantime, I hope you take time to slow down and make sure the life you're living feels good, it never too late to make changes, and please honor Craig by leading with radical kindness and many many silly moments.
