On Saturday, July 14th Craig lost his battle with cancer. He was an amazing father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He was also a great warrior. He fought cancer for 7 long years, knowing it was a battle he could not win. Craig fought for his life, but most importantly he fought for TIME. Time with his two young children Cameron and Courtney. Time with his devoted wife Veronica. Time with his family, dogs, and his friends. He was brave and strong through it all, right up to the very end. I am proud and blessed to have known such an amazing human being.
Craig touched so many lives. He was an accomplished photographer. He gave countless hours volunteering with the Oxnard and Downey PD K-9 units. His incredible pictures chronicle his many interests and devoted service to his community.
Craig was diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate cancer at 41 years young. His treatments were numerous and spanned many years. One treatment alone cost $40,000.00 per MONTH. Craig had medical insurance, but it did not cover all of his expenses. His wife, Veronica, is now trying to cope with the immense loss of her husband, best friend, and life partner, all while supporting their children through this terribly difficult time. They need financial support.
It is our goal to raise as much money as possible to help Veronica and the kids with current living expenses and future educational expenses. Your personal gifts in the form of a donation, no matter how large or small, will help this deserving family more than words can say. If you have questions or would like more information please don’t hesitate to contact me.
We love you Craig. Thank you for touching each of our lives in a way that only you could. Thank you, Veronica, for always standing bravely and steadfastly by his side. Thank you Cameron and Courtney for giving your dad the love and support he so desperately wanted to be able to give to you for the rest of your lives.
