Craig’s Fight Against Cancer
As many of you may not know, Craig is beginning his battle with Urothelial Bladder Cancer. After falling ill about 4 months ago he has since undergone several tests and biopsies. He was recently diagnosed with Stage III Urothelial Bladder Cancer on November 14th. Although Craig was having strange symptoms and unexplained health issues no one, including his doctors, ever imagined cancer, especially at the young age of 25. In a little over a week, typical conversations of daily events changed to what the next steps of treatment will look like.
Craig is an amazing father to a spunky little boy, Colin, who will be 4 in March. He is also a loving husband to his wife, Samantha. He enlisted in the military in December 2015 to further his career and lifetime dream. Craig and Samantha have been married for just over two years and they are hopeful to look back on this battle of cancer as a small part of their long life spent together as a family.
Craig and Samantha have met with a urologist at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, MA on for a second opinion to comfirm the diagnosis and treatment. Along with the emotional struggle, the family will be facing a reduction of income due to unpaid time off as well as growing medical expenses. Samantha's missed time at work will also be unpaid. Wishing they could wake up from the horrible nightmare, we are all determined that Craig will fight this with everything he has.
Please consider helping Craig and Samantha as they begin this journey. They are hopeful for a positive outcome and truly appreciate any donation given as well as emotional support.
