We are starting this GoFundMe campaign to help Mary with an urgent situation. Her shop, which has added such a unique flair to the downtown Torrance area for the past five years, is now faced with closing its doors. The clock is ticking, so we decided to bring it to the people.
2017 was a tough year for retail, and a tough year for Mary. Because of her giving nature, she overextended her finances considerably in an effort to help another vintage seller get their project off the ground. That along with the passing of her father distracted her attention from her business. In today’s volatile, unpredictable business climate any distraction can knock you off your feet.
She needs a helping hand back up, and she needs it quickly. We are asking for a donation towards back rent, which needs to be paid as soon as possible to avoid the beginning of eviction proceedings. If you can donate, great and we thank you, if you can’t, please share this page. Or if you prefer to shop her online at Cracked Vessel Vintage. We believe in supporting small businesses, they build our local communities
and make us what we are. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and or share this.
