In 2014 an Indoor Sports Complex was constructed in the village of Craanford in rural North Wexford. This facility stands tall and is in use on a nightly basis by the community as well as the neighbouring areas.
Nothing unusual about that you might say.......except to add this facility was built for the community by the community. Over 100 people worked voluntarily to help finish the construction of this impressive facility.
Our Complex is widely used for all age groups around north Wexford, south Wicklow and further afield for activities like hurling, soccer, hockey, football, rugby and indoor circuits/fitness classes.
Phase two now needs to be completed the construction of dressing rooms, gym and toilet/shower facilities.
With construction starting imminently, funds are urgently required.
The Fundraising Commitee have plans for many events through the lifetime of the project and will provide updates on same.
