Eye Surgery

Donation protected

Billy Diblasi, has Marfan Syndrome, which comes with a number of complications, including expensive life-saving heart surgeries and significant vision impairment.  He wasn't supposed to live past 30, but he's in his 40s now and has a 5 year old son with Marfan as well.

The surgeries have been taxing not only emotionally, but financially as well.  Billy is extremely creative and a graphic designer by profession.  His eye sight is critical to his ability to maintain employment and to pursue his hobbies.  Recently, however, Billy was playing frisbee with his son and the frisbee struck him directly in his good eye, causing a major laceration and a retinal detachment.  He can no longer see and the prognosis isn’t great for his vision to return.  In order to recover his vision, Billy has undergone and will continue to undergo a series of emergency surgeries to attempt to repair the damage.  We’re setting up this campaign to raise money for Billy so that he can afford to undergo the vital surgeries he needs to be able to see again.

We ask that you please contribute anything you can to help Billy and his family so that he can have the surgeries and care he requires to regain his vision.  Any donation is extremely appreciated.  We’re all wishing and praying for the best outcome for Billy!

We thank you ALL so much for taking the time to help Billy, our sister Nicole, and nephew during this troubling time.
