Wheelchair Ramp

On October 28th, 2014 my 22 year old brother Demetrios (Danny) fell off a 4 story building. As a result he suffered a burst fracture to his L1 and fractures in the surrounding vertebrae amoung other injuries and is now paralyzed from the waist down. In the days and ongoing months he went through a few surguries to stabilize his spine, physical therapy, and occupational therapy. My parents were there at the hospital every single day being his biggest cheerleaders.
Now a year later my family is in need of some help. We need a wheelchair ramp built for my parents house especially for the upcoming winter months. At first we would use 3 of us to lift him up the stairs and we have since graduated to using some wide wood planks to roll him up. But, this definately isn't a long term solution as the side walk will get icy and the anxiety it gives my brother. My uncle has offered to build the ramp for free we just need to raise $2,000 for the supplies. Our family would be grateful since this will increase my brothers independence that he's lost and provide a safe way for him to enter my parents house.
