Hi, we are Zeenat & Souad and we are both cancer patients from the UK. We have a friend in Morocco, Sara Abdellaoui who is 20 years old and has recently been diagnosed with cancer in her neck for which she needs treatment. Unfortunately, in Morocco all treatments have to be paid for if required imminently otherwise she will have to wait over a year and doctors have said the cancer will no doubt spread in this time. This is a big struggle on Sara and her family as her father is the only one working on taxis and just about makes ends meet after paying the rent and bills. She requires scans which are around £600 each - she is due to start chemotherapy as soon as there are funds available and each session is £50, thereafter she will need radiotherapy which is also £50 per session. We are trying to raise as much as we can to support her with her treatment as being cancer patients ourselves we know how difficult this time can be.
