A Hero needs your help

He has made it his life’s work to help others. Over the years he has worked hard to make sure everyone around him is taken care of in one way or another. As a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a friend, a paramedic, a firefighter, a 911 dispatcher....an ordinary man, who is a hero by default, as a result from his passion to save others.

He has worked longer hours than normal people could fathom, to save lives, children, houses, pets, the sanity of others; even if it meant he lost his own in some ways. He has missed precious time with his family, to pull broken bodies from car accidents, worked on a newborn right from womb, even when Hope was gone, picked up on things that others have looked over that saved lives. He has seen things that would scar others for life. He has comforted the deeply grieving. He has worked long hours through the blistering heat of the day, and the dead of night to save houses from fires.

If someone around him needed his help, he would always be there whenever he could. He knew what it was like to be alone and broken, and just past that rough exterior, was a heart that wanted nothing more than to serve others. He has literally broke his back on his way back from serving others.

Breaking his back in an ambulance crash was a day at Disneyworld compared to the bombshell that was dropped on us. Cancer. Late stage colorectal cancer. He is only 33 years old, and has a wife and 4 young children. Still isn’t fully processed in our minds. It’s like we are awake in some sort of a fuzzy nightmare. We are still picking up the pieces from the crash in 2017, then this happens. We are all still so drained, but we need to find the strength to fight. There’s no other way through this, but to fight.

My hero, and countless other people’s hero, now needs YOU. Now more than ever. I do too. We need a huge wave of TRUE positive healing prayers, positive energy, attitudes, positive anything. We need it so desperately, since it’s hard for us to be very positive on our own right now, after everything we have been dealt in recent years.

We know God is in control, we just need the strength to be able to navigate this road. Let’s lift up this hero in his time of need. Cancer is a word...NOT a sentence!

This gofund me was requested by people who want to help in some way.

Rick is the main income for the household. This gofundme  will help cover the added cost of gas, copays, medical bills, groceries, and help cover days he cannot work due to chemo and illness.

****feel free to share! The more prayer and positivity behind him, the better****
