Support Nikki's Fight Against Cancer

Donation protected
In April 2023, my sister Nikki was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer known as squamous cell carcinoma. Since then, she has endured surgery, countless rounds of radiation, and nearly every chemotherapy treatment available. Despite it all, and even as the cancer continues to spread, Nikki has never stopped fighting.

Most recently, on May 22, 2025, Nikki was found unresponsive and was airlifted to ThedaCare in Neenah. She was immediately sedated, placed on a ventilator, and underwent an emergency temporary tracheostomy. The next day, May 23rd, doctors prepared us for the worst—they weren’t sure she would wake up.

But if you know Nikki, you know she’s a fighter. On Saturday, May 24th, she opened her eyes—full of sass and strength. True to form, Nikki reminded us all that she isn’t done yet.

She is currently in the ICU, working every day to rebuild her lung capacity and regain her strength. A permanent tracheostomy has been placed, and her focus now is on standing and walking again. Her determination is relentless, and her spirit remains as strong as ever.

With Nikki unable to work and her husband Justin likely taking time off to care for her, the financial strain is heavy. Your support will help cover essential at-home medical equipment, medications, and the many other expenses they face while navigating this difficult chapter without much income.

Nikki has always been someone who gives her all to others—but asking for help has never come easy to her. Now, more than ever, she needs it.

If you're able to help in any way, please know you are supporting a truly remarkable woman whose strength and resilience continue to inspire everyone around her. And if a donation isn’t possible, simply sharing Nikki’s story is just as meaningful.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, kindness, and support as Nikki bravely continues this fight.
