Hello everyone! My name is Unaysah and I am raising money to help fund the educational resources for the Abuko Nursery and Lower Basic School which is located in The Gambia.

I will be visiting this school with my college who have been supporting, fundraising and visiting since December 2013 with the other Team Gambia students later this year.

Over the years the Team Gambia project has raised money to build a library, a well and provide the school with teaching materials and have also helped replace a water pump which was damaged in a storm and now serves the entire community.

Every student volunteer such as myself has been set a minimum target of raising £400 to contribute to the money we will be bringing to The Gambia this year. Although I have already raised some money for the project I would like to raise as much as possible as all proceeds from this page will be used to fund the education of the students in Gambia and ultimately benefit the children and their future.

In return for your kind donations I will be doing 100 steps per pound that is donated to this fundraiser. I am determined to "step" up for this challenge, so please give generously and together we can make a difference for the children!
