Hi. My name is Jacob Baldwin and 13 years ago I met someone who changed my life forever. I was at my lowest point when he showed me love and compassion. Our relationship blossomed and 3 years ago, I asked him to marry me. He said yes. He has been changing my life for the better and he always worried about me. Sadly things took a turn on April 15, 2023. At 1 am I received a phone call saying that he was in a motorcycle accident with a deer and was transported to the hospital. Scared, I went to the hospital where the man I love was lying unresponsive. He had multiple tests done and the CT scan showed he has some traumatic brain bleeding, hemorrhages, and swelling of his frontal lobe, a laceration on his right kidney, and bad road rash. He was wearing his helmet and a chest protector at the time of the accident, which saved his life. He is recovering beyond expectations, but the impact left him with severe mental issues. His motor skills have declined dramatically, he is unable to walk/feed himself/ and daily activities are challenging for him. In that instant, I became the sole provider for us and I would do anything for him. I work full-time and provide insurance for us and with the medical bills, I can't keep up. Everything seems like it is falling apart but I pray nightly for his recovery. I am willing to struggle to make sure I can do everything possible for him. We have been struggling financially for a long time but we started to rebuild and things were looking up, but with these medical bills, everything is unwinding and I am afraid I will lose everything we have worked towards. I am asking for help to cover some of these medical bills.
