Precious is a 5 year old akita mix who shortly after her arrival to Animal Rescue Rhode Island began experiencing seizures. At that time, Precious was transferred to a foster home where she could be better monitored while under the care of Dr. Marini, Neurologist at Ocean State Veterinary Services.
Up to this point, Precious has been classified with an "unknown" seizure disorder. We have now hit a road block where in order to properly treat her and give her the best chance of a forever home, we need to find more answers and a possible cause.
It has now been suggested to us that she have an MRI. The total cost is around $2,200 which is beyond the means of the rescue at this time, therefore we are reaching out to you, our supporters to help us once again. Her test will be scheduled when we receive the necessary funds, no amount is too small. Please help Precious today!
