Jimmy was diagnosed in 2018 with colon cancer where he underwent 2 rounds of chemo, radiation, and multiple life-altering surgeries. He became septic post-op and was placed on a ventilator in ICU for 10 days. The treatments were successful and he went into remission. However, this past fall his cancer came back. Jimmy was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and lymphoma. It's uncurable. To try and extend his life, the doctors have recommended a third round of chemotherapy which his insurance will not cover. Each individual treatment will cost $2,000 out-of-pocket. He will need at least 8. That cost will be a huge financial burden on Jimmy and Robin.
This is also very difficult emotionally for Jimmy. In 2020, he was forced to go on disability due to his illness. For 30 years, his work ethic has kept his family afloat. Jimmy is the glue of his family. He's known for cracking jokes and keeping smiles on everyone's faces any time he is around. He brings an immense amount of joy to everyone he sees.
His wife, 5 children, 4 grandchildren, and extended family are beside themselves with this diagnosis, but we will fight with him every day to help Jimmy live for as long as God has planned for him! We need your help! Any donation is greatly appreciated. If you would like to donate in another way, please contact his daughter Sidney. Thank you for all the prayers!
