I have had dental phobia for several years and as a result, have not seen a dentist in over 10 years. I now have major problems, 3 or more abscessed teeth compounded by major gum recession and massive bone loss. (I saw it on X-rays myself.) I was told with the bone loss only 4 teeth could truly be saved and they would not guarantee that i would not loose those in 4-5 years. I have seen 3 dentists, a periodontist, and an implant specialist. Each has had a bit more detail into the situation. Bottom line is I need to have all me teeth removed. The doctor and every staff member were knowledgeable and willing to answer my zillion questions. I have made a decision; I need work done and have some money saved and have secured financing for 5,000. After much thought, I decided to see if friends were willing to help me out. The entire procedure: extraction, temporary dentures, follow-up appointments (about 6 months), and final dentures is all included for 8,000. I figure you have not because you ask not, so here's my plea. I know everything is tight now, but if at all possible, I need to raise this money as I have an appointment on August 20 Thanks for reading this, helping out if you can, but more importantly, praying for comfort whatever has to happen.
