Hi, my name is Katrina.

My good friend Kalie has been travelling in Australia and recently got a small cut on her leg. The cut became infected within 2 days and turned into Necrotizing Fasciitis (flesh-eating disease). They only see cases this serve 2-3 times a year. Upon arrival to the hospital she didn’t think anything of it, she then underwent two surgeons within 24hrs. She is currently in the ICU on surgery number 3 while I’m making this page. Although she has medical insurance, due to Kalie being hospitalized she is unable to work, for a prolonged period of time which is not what she was excepting when moving to Australia. She was hoping to start Farm work February 12th in Margaret River and be able to start her life here smoothly. This fundraiser is to help her out with daily needs until she is fully recovered, having support from the people she cares about really will mean the world to her. 

If you know Kalie, you know how charismatic she is. She’s always the first to lend a helping hand to anyone in any circumstance. I'm wanting to bring together the people that would like to help her out, let's help get her back on her feet… literally. She appreciates all of you!
