Unfortunately, our household has been impacted by the ongoing government shut down. With the sole income being from a federal worker, we currently are bringing in no money. There is no end in sight to the government shutdown. We have exhausted all of our resources at this point since it has been well over a month. There are 3 kids who still have to have their needs met regardless. We still need some help to pay for necessities and bills, as well as keeping food in the house and gas in the cars to make sure the kids get to school. Many of these bill companies refuse to help with payment adjustments or anything which leaves very little room for options. Even a few dollars toward a tank of gas is extremely helpful right now.
