Grant Thornton is supporting Reading Mencap during national Learning Disability Week 2024.

Grant Thornton employees will be taking part in Reading Mencap's 'Walk a Mile in Our Shoes' event on Wednesday 19 June to raise awareness of learning disabilities.

Please support your colleagues, friends and family members who are volunteering and participating in the walk by making a donation to Reading Mencap.

Your donation will help Reading Mencap to provide vital information, advice and casework to people with a learning disability and their families, who are impacted by the cost-of-living and social care crises.

94% of adults with learning disabilities who use Reading Mencap's services said that Reading Mencap had made their lives better.

Reading Mencap's vision is for people with a learning disability to lead fulfilling, safe and happy lives, with more opportunities to participate in their local community.

Reading Mencap is affiliated to national Mencap but is a separate charity raising all its own funds to support people in greater Reading, Berkshire.
