74 Year Old Woman in Danger of Losing Home
Donation protected
74-year-old woman in danger of losing home due to her siblings disputing parents’ estate.
This senior lady selflessly uprooted herself and moved across the country to care for her father in 2017 taking her from the Pacific Norwest to the East Coast. After caring for him in his home without any assistance, he passed away in 2019.
In addition to giving up her own life to care for her father, she then was responsible for clearing out his home which took two more years as he and her mother had been hoarders and had lived in this home for 25 years.
Without any help from her siblings, she was overwhelmed with this huge undertaking as she has her own health issues which complicated her situation making it very difficult and time consuming.
She is now in the position of having to sell her own modest home to satisfy her siblings regarding his estate and this is leaving her in dire straits facing homelessness. Her only income is social security. Her current modest home was provided for by her father’s last wishes. She had given up her own living arrangements in the NW to be able to care for him at his end of life.
Very little housing is available that she can afford on her social security which is now her sole income. No affordable housing is available for her and her two poodles. she worries about losing them. Urgent help needed.
