Louie Rivera Sr and Family

For those that know this incredible family; you know of the tragic loss of their oldest son, Louie Jr. February 3, 2022. They then chose to make a new start from El Paso to Dallas to be closer to their other 2 children; Jordan and Charissma. Louie was able to continue his career as a correctional officer here with the Hutchins County prison. However; due to his diabetes and unfortunate infections, he has gone through 3 amputations between May and November of this year. The latest being his right leg from the knee down. He will now require a prosthetic leg. He did not work long enough with the timing of this happening to build up paid time off. Adriana is providing the only source of income, working full time while juggling hospital visits, rehab and doctor’s appointments for him.

This family has gone through so much and could really use our prayers, love and support. If your heart leads you this holiday season to provide a little sunshine through their storm it would be a blessing to them.
