My name is Sam and I work for Ridgeway School, a really lovely, inclusive special needs school in Kempston, Beds. We are raising money to create a special memorial garden area where staff and children can go and spend time, remembering friends and/or family they have had to say goodbye to. We have already had the fence installed and have lots of ideas about how the garden will look (watch this space for our designs!). We would love to be able to create an area which is wheelchair accessible but also has lots of seating with water features, a fairy garden, sensory plants and trees for shade. We would also love to offer the opportunity to friends of Ridgeway to have memorial plaques in the garden for anyone who had a connection to the school.
