Help Carmen fight cancer

My name is Mary Ann LeBlanc I'm a good friend of Carmen .

We are seeking your support in helping one of our own, a very special person, Carmen Gallant from Shediac, NB

Carmen had breast cancer 5 years ago and overcame it.

Now we just heard news that the cancer is back. She has metastatic stage 4 breast cancer which has spread to her bones, lymph nodes and liver. We are asking for funding to help her relieve some of the financial burdens that comes with medical treatments and expenses .

She has maintained a positive attitude since her diagnosis/treatments but the financial stress from not being a le to work since her medical issues started back in January has been taking a toll on her and that is one thing she should not have to worry about at this time. This is the time in her life where she should be enjoying herself being close to her retirement. Now she has to face this long road of treatments. The oncologist does believe that if the treatments work they will be able to manage the cancer for another good number of years.

For those of you, who don't know, Carmen is the widow of Gilles Gallant, she has 3 daughters and granddaughter whom she lives for.

Carmen was part of the Pink Angels with the Relay for Life and she also volunteered on numerous organizations. If someone needed a helping hand she was the first one to help out with her heart of gold she would never ask for anything in return.

Over the years the Pink Angels raised over $100,000. for breast cancer, Carmen was a huge part of making this happen. Wherever you see Carmen she will always greet you with a smile with her warm blue eyes asking how you are.

She genuinely cares for everyone. Now it's our turn to show our love and that we also have a heart of gold.
