My name is Daniel, and I'm reaching out to you today with a heavy heart. I was one of Ashton Dickerson's closest friends, and his sudden passing in a car accident on Mother's Day, May 11th, has left a void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Ashton and I became friends two years ago through our shared passion for the game Magic: The Gathering, and from that moment on, our bond grew strong. Ashton was truly one of a kind – a unique soul who saw the world through a different lens, always with the purest intentions. His deep devotion to Jesus was evident in his everyday life, guiding him to offer a helping hand whenever he could and to see the good in everyone he met.

Beyond his kind spirit, Ashton was a talented and aspiring artist, pouring his creativity into writing and producing a diverse range of songs under the moniker "Love Ozihe." This artistic name held a special meaning for him, inspired by his love for the animated series "Avatar: The Last Airbender." Just as the protagonist in the show learned that love and forgiveness could overcome darkness, Ashton embraced these principles in his own life, a reflection of his faith and upbringing.
