Cpt Chris Norgren Memorial Signs

I am the President of the VFW 3115 Riders.  We are helping Chris Norgrens Mother Terri raise the funds to pay for the approved Highway Interchange memorial signs for Chris.  These signs were approved by  Kansas House Bill 2610. The approved KDOT cost to desgin, manufacture and install two signs is $4,160 plus and additionl 50% for future maintenance.  This totals $6,240 through donation collection, prior to KDOT being able to proceed.

Captain Norgren was part of the humanitarian relief effort after the devastating earthquake in Nepal in April 2015. Captain Norgren, five fellow Marines and two Nepaleses soldiers lost their lives when the helicopter he was piloting went down on May 12, 2015.

Any Donations would help offset this cost that no family should not have to bear or worry about after a loved one paid the ultimate sacrifice for their Country.

These signs will memorialize Chris and his ultimate sacrifice to our Country and to his efforts in helping the people of Nepal.
