Hi, my name is Kimberly Carter. I had an unexpected accident on June 4th and fell holding my 5 month old grandson, I ended up with a small concussion and completely tearing my right rotator cuff. I also had a partial tear in my shoulder. These injuries resulted in me not being able to use my right arm at all. My grandson was completely safe. After going to the doctor, having x-rays, and having an MRI, I was informed that I would need immediate surgery. I was scheduled for surgery as soon as possible. I had my surgery on July 2nd and was told that the damage was worse than they could see from the images. When I returned for my follow up appointment, It was explained to me that my healing process would take anywhere from 4-6 months and that I would also need intense physical therapy. With all of this happening unexpectedly, I have exhausted all of my saved funds to keep bills paid for the month of July. I am still unable to return to work and am seeking any financial help to be able to keep my bills paid until I can return to work. Any donations, prayers and shares would be greatly appreciated.
