We all have that one friend that we can count on when we are sad, happy, frustrated or unsure. Salina's best friend is Hazel, her beloved beagle who has been by her side for over seven years. Recently, Hazel was diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease which means that she isn't able to walk and needs surgery to avoid paralysis. Although we all have our own personal challenges and financial obligations, I have set up this GoFundMe to support Salina and help Hazel receive the surgery she needs to continue being her best friend. The surgery has a 90% success rate, but is expensive. I implore you to please consider donating to a wonderful woman who is involved in rescue, regularly works at a local shelter, attends adoption events and is an advocate for rescue. Unfortunately, veterinarians are unable to accept partial payments therefore Salina needs to have the funds available to pay for Hazel's surgery as soon as possible. Yes, this is a lot of money for a dog, it's a lot of money for a person, but it isn't a lot of money to provide a surgery to a loving and generous woman who doesn't want to lose her best friend. Grateful is a strong word, and doesn't adequately explain Salina's thankfulness for your donation and heartfelt contribution to her Hazel.
