Steve Clukey’s medical and funeral expenses

Update: Unfortunately Steve was unable to recover from his injuries and we had to make the very difficult decision to remove life sustaining measures. In life Steve was always willing to help others and so it was no surprise that he was an organ donor to continue to help other at the time of his passing. So, he was able to do that tonight.

We will still be hoping for help with the medical bills and also now funeral arrangements.

We thank all who have generously donated and shared positive thoughts and prayers. Our family feels blessed by your kindness.

My little brother Steve Clukey, was in a serious motorcycle accident Friday night.

He has suffered a serious neck injury and what’s called a Diffuse Axonal Injury which is a brain injury.

Unfortunately, my brother doesn’t have any health insurance.

A little, or a lot about my little brother Steve, is he is a great guy. He just celebrated his 50th birthday last Summer.

He is an amazing father to his son Hunter who is 23 years old. Steve is Hunters hero and is devastated by this terrible event.

Hunter is his pride and joy and most precious accomplishment.

Hunter still needs his dad. Steve has always been a hard worker.

Steve worked as a building contractor and seldom took days off. If there was work, he was there. If he took 2 vacations in his life I’d be surprised.

If you were his friend, you were lucky because he would be there for you for anything. I know he saved me from myself enough times.

He would drop whatever he was doing if it was important enough to you and you needed him. He is kind, generous and had a big heart.

He is life of the party and would have you in stitches laughing every second.

He’d even rap out some Snoop Dogg if you needed some tunes. He’s a huge Eagles fan. Fly Eagles Fly.
