Philly Celebrates 100 Years of the CPC

On July 23, 1921 at the First National Congress, the Communist Party of China was founded. 2021 marks the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China, and we in Philadelphia will commemorate this historic centenary and celebrate our common struggle for democracy and peace with two weekends of films, symposiums, and panel presentations.

We are excited to celebrate this important anniversary in a city rich with arts, culture, politics, and struggle like Philadelphia and in a historic space like the Church of the Advocate in North Philadelphia. The money we receive will be put towards a donation to the Church of the Advocate, as well as tech equipment, meals, and refreshments for the attendees.

You can find more information on this month's events and programming on our conference's website . We hope you can join us.
