Hello, My name is Tammy. Around 8:30 Monday night, I received a call from my son Dawson. His apartment building on fire. He told me he heard a crash and crackling sound that came from the shed on his balcony. He went to go check what it was and when he opened the shed doors, flames came shooting out. He and his partner grabbed their animals, Dawson called 911 and started banging on doors to get everyone out.

Thankfully, everyone was able to get out, and no one was hurt. Unfortunately though, they lost everything. They only have the clothes they were wearing. Everything else is gone.

It's not easy for me to ask for help but this, I need help with. I just want to be able to go hug my son and tell him everything is going to be ok, but instead of spending money on traveling, I'm sending him money for food,clothes and housing.

Yes, they are getting some help from RedCross and insurance but we all know how long that could end up taking. So I am asking for help.

I appreciate any assistance you may be able to provide. If you know of anyone in Greenville South Carolina that has an apartment for rent, or other programs that could help them get back on their feet and replace some of what they have lost, please let me know. Any financial assistance will go directly to them for replacement of clothes, furniture and housing.
