Our beloved Deon Guin suffered several strokes beginning in March 2020. This sudden interruption of blood supply to the brain led to Deon experiencing paralysis in the face and having difficulty with walking, speaking and understanding. To know Deon is to know her passion for her family and the Birmingham community. 

We humbly ask you to consider making a donation that will help Deon pay the ongoing services she will need - speech therapy, childcare for her 6-year-old son, doctors' appointments, to name a few. Your gift will provide Deon the opportunity to live a life worth living, and will truly help someone who has given so much to others.
