Hello friends, as some of you know, I just finished principal photography on a new short film called, “Coyote”. It’s about a subject very important to me. We follow three women and see the extremes they must go to in order to receive reproductive care outside of Texas. The results are tragic. I understand the sensitive nature of this topic. I also firmly believe that if we have no control over our own bodies, all other ‘rights’ are inconsequential in comparison. I’m frightened by what I’m seeing in our country, and this is the only way I know to raise my fist in protest. We have a lot to accomplish in post-production in order to get this story out in the world. I hope to give voice to the women silenced by abortion bans, and to show a human story, beyond ideology and statistics, that hopefully will change some hearts and minds.
