Coyote Attack on Cat: Desperate for aid in neurological bill

Hi, we’re raising funds for Doobie’s neurological medical aid.

He was attacked by a coyote in the middle of our condo community square in the city of Calgary. His vitals are functioning and stable but there is a puncture wound by his right ear and some temporal trauma on the left. This trauma has resulted in the paralyzation of his face on the left side. He is deaf in his left ear and possibly blind in the left eye. His balance is affected and repeated eye tracking to the left has begun.

The puncture wound is assumed to have an infection based on the contaminated delivery of the injury. Our medical team is working hard to tackle this issue before any permanent damage can be cause by such a wound.

Doobie has maintained his loving and affectionate nature through the confusion of his brain injuries, which provides us some comfort in knowing he will be our same beloved boy on the other side of treatment.

We are a young couple who have been blessed with this sweet addition to our family for around 6 years. He has always won over the hearts of everyone he meets, he’s athletic, he’s cuddly, he’s everyone’s favourite kitty.

We are looking for support in the specialist medical aid bills that will come along with saving our precious Doobie.
