Help Cowboy Get the Treatment He Deserves

Hi, my name is Nicola and this is my beloved dog, Cowboy. He’s a four-year-old bundle of love and loyalty who means the absolute world to me. I suffer with premature ovarian failure which means I can’t have children of my own, so I have my gorgeous sausage instead! Sadly, Cowboy recently had a terrible accident — he badly injured his back and now he’s lost complete use of his back legs. The vets suspect he may have a slipped disc, but in order to confirm the diagnosis and explore treatment options, he urgently needs a CT and MRI scan.

The cost of this specialist care, along with any necessary treatment or surgery, is expected to reach as high as £6,000. As someone living with fibromyalgia, depression, and anxiety, I am currently unable to work, and this amount is far beyond anything I can manage on my own.

The vets have told me that if I can’t afford to proceed, I may need to consider putting Cowboy to sleep — something I can’t bear to imagine. He’s still so young, full of life, and has so much love left to give. With the right medical care, there’s real hope for his recovery and a happy, pain-free life.
