As most of you know mine and crystals kids were with their grandparents in a tragic accident in Huntsville,Tx on December 12th. Grandpa was taken to hospital, and kids were life flighted to Texas Children's in Houston. The grandma unfortunately passed away on the scene.
Briley has since been released from the hospital on Christmas eve, with a long road to recovery ahead of her. She should be able to recover back to her normal self.
Colby put up the biggest fight that he could. On his birthday December 30, we had to make the hardest decision of our lives. Due to his injuries he was never going to be able to walk, talk, or move again. So on December 31, 2020 Colby gained his wings.
I've always called Colby, "cold beer Colby", and about a year or two ago he said " Daddy me not cold beer Colby no more, me cowboy Colby". Colby always wanted to be a cowboy cop. I told him you could be a constable, because where we live constables dress like cowboys. Colby could light a room up when he walked in. He had the brightest smile and the prettiest brown eyes. He loved his four wheeler, to fish and the out doors. He has an older sissy whom he loved very much, they were inseparable. He has a younger bubba also, they are like two peas in a pod. He loved his little bubba, they did everything together. We will never forget his smile, laughter, and his presence. He touched the hearts of many people.
Crystal and I agreed to make a gofundme because no one expects this to happen and the expenses are starting to come up. This will be going into a new account that we have access to and we just want to put our baby at rest. If you can't donate just say a prayer for our family. This is something I never wanted to ask for, but this is where we are at and we thank each and everyone of you for everything.
