Cow Shelter for Winter

Hi, my name is Laura and I run Whitegate Animal Sanctuary. We have over 150 animals, all rescued from the meat and dairy industry or unwanted pets.

We receive no funding and so rely on donations to keep the sanctuary open.

The sanctuary is 100% volunteer led and so all funds raised go directly to the animals.

This winter, we need to move our 3 cows to dryer ground and currently there is no shelter for them on there. The alternative is to move them to the yard, but it makes them so sad in the smaller space where they can't run. We would love to keep them out but we would have to get another shelter built for them but it costs around £1,000 as it needs to be big and strong!
