Hello , My name is Vaniecia Bryant. I am starting this GoFundMe for my mother Angela Robinson. My mother was admitted into a Sarasota hospital on July 12th 2020; suffering with multiple symptoms and major breathing difficulties. Shockingly, within 24 hours of being admitted she was placed on a ventilator. Even after 2 successful surgeries she is currently still on the ventilator to preserve her life. Unfortunately, my mother is faced with a multitude of life changes and will need extensive respiratory, physical, and occupational therapy. My mother has a long journey ahead of her; and she's determined to have a successful recovery. With a 30 year career in the nursing field my mother has always been on the caregiver side, but now she is the person needing the care. Most recently, caring for the mentally challenged and disabled adults was my mother's career choice; she did this with passion, pride, devotion and dignity. She has always been the rock of our family. She balanced work, serving the community but the most special was her desire to give my 5 siblings and I a role model and an abundance of love. I have taken on the huge responsibility of parenting and caring for my 4 younger siblings during my mother's absence to keep our family unified in this tragic time.
