Hi, my name is Tyree and my wife and I have been dealt a series of hard blows over the last several months. Following the loss of my job in a corporate restructuring in June, I quickly found myself thrust into the role of a full-time caregiver for my elderly parents when my mother sustained severe injuries in a fall. For the last three months, I have been driving 17 miles one way every single day to care for their needs. But this has left me unable to work full-time at the temp job I've been working. This, combined with the daily expenditure of gas and other expenses involved in caregiving, has gradually made it harder and harder to pay for things.
However, things have worsened as both my wife and I have been struck with Covid-19, which has us both missing several days of work, with me unable to return to the office until I test negative. This will barely leave me a paycheck and render me unable to pay for basic necessities or my share of our bills.
I am asking for enough to cover our expenses until next month when life will have hopefully evened out, at least as far as my ability to work goes. As the saying goes, anything helps, and I sincerely appreciate anything anyone can do. I know times are hard for many right now, and giving isn't easy. If you've read this far, thank you. And thank you for any help you can give, even if it is just sharing our story.
