Covid-19 Williamsburg Rehab

B'chasdei Hashem, many members of our community survived Covid-19. While the patients and their families are deeply grateful and appreciative, their lives have been terribly affected. The virus wreaked havoc on its victim's body, incapacitating them. They have B"H merited to come home albeit in a very fragile condition, with a very long recovery ahead.

Unfortunately, the insurance companies have not yet acknowledged the need for rehabilitative services, and the resources they provide are severely limited. They are only eligible for a very small amount of homecare, including therapy.

Thankfully, some askanim filled this lack by setting up a pop-up therapy clinic in Williamsburg. A generously donated space was outfitted with top equipment and a team of experts. Aggressive therapy is provided to ensure the patients get back on their feet. 

It began with a group of 6 patients, and as word spread, many more people begged to join the program. Some without the means to pay for it. Unable to refuse them these critical services, they were accommodated at no cost, thus incurring exorbitant costs . It is now servicing 30 people!  It has been running 4 weeks now, and the results are incredible BH!

However, the initial funds dedicated to this project are running dry, and the center is at risk of imminent closure. Currently, we need the support and generosity of community members like you to keep it afloat. I am appealing to you on behalf of all those cholim, who have with rachamei shamayim come this far, and are anxiously hoping to return to their original productive lives.
