COVID19 Survivor Medical Relief
Donation protected
Hello Everyone
First of all I hope you're in good spirits, staying positive and safe.
My name is Tess Prado. I'm helping to raise funds for my sister-in-law, Perlie Feraro.
Perlie has been at the hospital for couple of months now battling COVID-19 virus.
Prior to contacting the virus, Perlie has been confined at home for several years, (in bed 80% of the time) battling Lupus.. On March 12th she was admitted to the hospital due to kidney issues then discharged a week later. April 1st she was rushed back to the hospital for shortness of breath and low blood pressure. The following day she tested positive for Covid-19 virus. Her husband and children all tested negative. Perlie's condition went downhill from there with her organs failing and she has been on life support.
Perlie is the heart and strenght of her husband & four children.
She is the most unselfish, giving person, happy and easy going person.
She told her family in the past "If or when anything happens to me and you have to make a decision to whether let me go or live... I want you to fight for my life, because I will always fight for you" That's her dying wish.
Apri 23rd the hospital called for a conference meeting with the family along with 16 specialist doctors. The doctors were unanimous with their recommendation to stop the attempt to resuscitate or revive her because there's nothing else the doctors can do medically for Perlie. The family refused and fought for her life.
On Mother's day, the family received the good news...She tested negative!
Miracle happened, thank you Lord! Perlie has proven that she is a fighter and did not give up.
Perlie is still in critical condition but yet she is on the path to recovery, the hospital wants her transfered to a full care nursing & rehab facility. Unfortunately the only facility that would ACCEPT her is in Los Angeles which is approx. 400 miles away from home. The cost to transport plus expenses is over $12,000. Insurance will not cover the transport cost therefore, the family has to come-up with funds within the next few days.
Her husband is on disability and the primary caretaker for her. Donation will also help with his travel expenses to LA to be with his wife.
Your donation and support in any way is greatly appreciated and would mean the world to the Feraro Family as they fought to pull through this . Updates will be posted as they become available.
Thank you so much in advance,
Tess Prado on behalf of the Feraro Family
God Bless
