COVID-19 continues to take a toll on us. What is happening with India’s second wave brings tears to our eyes, and leaves our heart heavy with grief and pain. Tier I cities have been in the news, and they are getting lot of humanitarian aid, and focus from NGOs - and it is making an impact.

However our Tier II cities are facing the same issues and challenges. Doctors and health workers there are feeling helpless and challenged with the infrastructure being simply inadequate.

We can make a difference, but we can’t do it alone.

I am helping raise funds for making our healthcare infrastructure stronger in a Tier II city - Kota Rajasthan India. Kota will especially benefit from this effort, as it is home to lot of bright students who come here for competitive entrance test preps like IIT, Medical etc. COVID-19 will take time to get under control (some experts are fearing multiple waves)  and we need to strengthen our hospitals to allow doctors and nurses to take care of patients, and help save households.

I am working with the President, Mr. Shyam Sharma (not related to me) of Baharat Vikas Parishad (http://www.bvph.in) Hospital and Research Center Kota, that serves underprivileged communities. It has become a COVID-19 hospital in these dire times.

Requesting you to generously contribute. Your funds will go towards strengthening the infrastructure including Oxygen plant, ventilators etc.

This will save lives - funds that go towards infrastructure go a longer way towards helping our communities.

I will match every dollar or rupee you contribute till $5,000 of my personal funds. Your INR donations will be tax exempt as per section 80G.

The sooner we get these funds over, the earlier we will start to make a difference.
