Healing for Webb
Donation protected
My dad, Webb Moyers, is a young at heart veteran, son, sibling, husband, father, uncle, grandfather and friend. He is a caretaker, dedicating his final years working to taking care of elders (including his own father), at a local nursing home, even contracting COVID-19 while working there. Unfortunately, due to injuries to his neck and back, Webb is in severe debilitating pain that makes working at the nursing home (or anywhere for that matter) nearly impossible. Yet he goes, because he needs to ensure he has enough money to pay the bills. He cannot afford the leave of absence he desperately needs.
An MRI is required before surgery can be scheduled, and that process has been slow. My dad needs some time to take care of himself and allow his body to recover before surgery. I have set up this fundraiser, to raise enough money to cover the bills for the month or two before his surgery and a month or two after while he is in physical therapy....so that he no longer has to choose between his physical health and paying the bills.
I appreciate your thoughts, prayers and support for my Dad. He has never asked anyone for anything, and he would never ask for this. But I wanted to surprise him with the kindness of others (where he had no choice in the matter), because I hear the pain in his voice, the helplessness of my stepmom who has tried everything to help, and his worry and anxiety about not working and being unable to pay the bills. Thank you for your kindness!
