I’m writing this in hope of helping my family during these desperate times. COVID-19 has unfortunately  hit my family and it has had a huge toll on all of us. My dad, mom, and two sisters have tested positive. Although my mom and sisters have been doing well and staying quarantined, my dad has gotten it the roughest because of his asthma.

He was admitted to the hospital Friday, July 10th. Although, he hated the idea of going to the hospital and fought it the best he could he was having a hard time breathing. He is currently getting 11 liters of oxygen, will be getting plasma, and will be starting on Remidesivor (medication) to treat the virus.

We know the main reason why he didn’t want to go to the hospital was to avoid the medical bill, ‘til this moment it is has been a huge stressor to him. We want him to only have to worry about getting better and not how much it’ll cost.  Anything will help.

——————- ———————— —————— Escribo esto con la esperanza de ayudar a mi familia durante estos tiempos desesperantes. Desafortunadamente, COVID-19 ha afectado a mi familia. Mi papá, mi mamá y mis dos hermanas dieron positivo. Aunque mi madre y mis hermanas estan bien y se han mantenido en cuarentena, mi padre la pasado más duro debido a su asma.
Fue ingresado en el hospital el viernes 10 de julio. Sin embargo, odiaba la idea de ir al hospital y luchó lo más que pudo pero le costaba respirar y tuvimos que llevarlo. Actualmente está recibiendo 11 litros de oxígeno, recibirá plasma y comenzará a tomar Remidesivor (medicamento) para tratar el virus. Sabemos que la razón principal por la que no quería ir al hospital era para evitar la factura médica, hasta este momento ha sido un gran estresante para él. Queremos que solo tenga que preocuparse por mejorar y no cuánto costará. Cualquier cosa ayudará. Se lo agradecemos desde el fondo de nuestro corazón.
