                COVID RELIEF FOR BANGLADESH

“…Whoever saves the life of one person, it is as if he has saved the life of the whole of mankind”

Sponsored by Mirzapur Ex-Cadets' Association, North America (MECANA - a 501(c)(3) organization EIN- 47-5134903), Mirzapur Ex-Cadets' Association (MECA), Bangladesh, and Mirzapur Ex-Cadets' Association, Australia

The exponential spread during the second wave of Covid-19 has ravaged both lives and livelihoods of the people of Bangladesh.

The healthcare system is going through a public health crisis unparalleled in her 50-year history.

At this moment of crisis, Mirzapur Ex-Cadet’s Association (MECA), the Alumni Association of 2500+ members of Mirzapur Cadet College is raising emergency funds across the globe in an effort to deliver desperately needed food, medicine, and shelter for the poorest of the poor. Financial support is also desperately required by hospitals and medical clinics for emergency supplies of medicines and personal protective equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers.

It is our firm belief that through our collective efforts, working in unison, we could generate substantial funds and contribute to select group of NGOs and hospitals with proper track records. They meet our strict criteria of social commitment, integrity, and transparency.

To donate from anywhere around the globe please click on the DONATE button.

Funds raised globally will be disbursed to: BRAC, USA: https://bracusa.org/   (BRAC is the world’s largest NGO that was founded by the late Sir Fazle Hasan Abed). The following is a list of links to BRAC’s Covid-19 related blogs/reports and social media stories:
