NEW SCOPE! Testing 100 Health Care Volunteers for antibodies against the virus by the end of April. Massachusetts needs these Volunteers as the numbers of coronavirus patients go up. We need to get our communities #CovidReadyMA !
Previously infected people may be immune to catching the virus again. Hospitals and researchers are trying to prove this now, and commercial tests for immunity will be available within weeks. But how many tests will be available, and who will be the first to get them?
McNeil Scientific Consulting is rapidly developing this test at their own expense. We have reduced our scope to focus on the volunteer force in Marlborough MA. As of April 7 we have spent about $12,000 on materials. and raised $6000. Please Help!
1. Development of test - Materials $14,000. (Labor $0 courtesy of volunteers MSC, SBH Sciences and Aphios Corporation)
2. Immunity Screening - About $1200 to test one round of 25 health care workers or Volunteers. 5 rounds of testing by end of April. Contact us to get your group tested!

This GoFundMe campaign has been set up and is managed by Mike Maliska, a longtime friend of the founders of SAI, who has donated his efforts. Funds will be transferred to a new bank account opened by Gary McNeil specifically for this fundraiser, and will be used to pay for materials and other expenses required to develop the test and to screen the volunteers. This is a completely nonprofit effort!
