COVID-19: Help us make masks and pay our workers.

Medical heroes deserve protection on the front-line, and workers desperately need to remain employed. Healthcare workers are getting sick at faster rates than the regular public. Without your assistance (donation), more folks will contract coronavirus, and at least twenty more workers (the KIZZI Team) could be without jobs.

We're KIZZI Dancewear, and we typically make dance costumes. We've shifted production and now make cloth masks/covers to protect medical workers and the community at large to reduce the spread of coronavirus or, in other words, "flatten the curve"! With this work, we can continue to pay our hard-working, talented people.

Our masks do not replace the scarce N-95 FDA-approved, cleared, or authorized surgical masks or respirators. However, in settings where these masks are not available, they may provide some protection.  Our masks are double layer and include a pocket insert for a filter. They cover, protect, and preserve the disposable masks medical workers are re-using or provide a barrier for those who wear NOTHING! The KIZZI factory, located in Austin, TX, houses the people who can produce HUNDREDS of masks DAILY that we will immediately place into your community.

We hope to provide these masks at no cost to those in need. But, the only possible way is by raising money to cover materials, labor, and shipping. Please consider donating: every dollar counts, and no donation is too small. If you can't give at this time, could you share this with your network?
