Covid-19: Help feed Trinidad & Tobago Families
Donation protected
In partnership with Massy Stores Supermarket and the San Fernando Jama Masjid, I have launched this campaign in the hope that together we can raise funds for families in urgent need of food in Trinidad & Tobago.
The fallout from the spread of coronavirus has highlighted how many Trinbagonians are one disaster away from physical, emotional, or economic ruin.
While the cases in TNT have remained small in comparison to other countries like the United States, businesses have been hit hard in an already struggling economy. Hundreds of thousands of people in Trinidad & Tobago have been displaced, lost their jobs, lost a significant portion of their income and are unable to provide adequate food for their families.
Now, while many await state assistance which in many cases is not enough to feed their families, those in more secure financial positions have an opportunity to step up and help.
Just $71 USD or $500 TTD can provide an entire family with some essential food items. Any amount can go a long way to helping these families in need. Please consider donating to help families survive this crisis.
All funds will be withdrawn and given directly to Massy Stores. Massy Stores will prepare the gift cards and these will be distributed to the San Fernando Jama Masjid where families can collect the gift card and go directly to a Massy store nearby to claim and purchase the food items they need.
