Covid-19 Emergency Housing Fund

Hello, and thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to read me.

Covid-19, in one way or another, has impacted us all; it has changed us, and in the midst of the worst extremes, my goal was to prevent exposure to the pandemic. As someone disabled, chronically ill with a vascular condition that effects my immune system, I have been in extended quarantine.

Coronavirus has touched my family and it took the life of my uncle this past April. I have been motivated by the need to protect the immunocompromised lives of myself and my partner. Over the past few months,  "Alive" was my principle focus. But the cost for staying safe may now cost my life now.

My governor's rent moratorium ends in just a few days and my landlord would love nothing more than to evict. And the generosity of many of you, so many of you who may not even know me, is astounding.  But the month is winding down, and I am getting scared out of my mind.

I am creating this fundraiser out of extreme and severe necessity; as a chronically ill patient/person, it has been of extreme importance that since March, though especially in April, I put my health above finance and I owe rent during the moratorium. It must be paid back (and I am close but still urgently need a bit more to ensure I stay here. I have no where else to go.

I have neither been well physically or emotionally. I live in fear. Since losing my uncle, I have been walking in a (literal) fever-dream and time has slid away from me as I try to get by.

As of now my biggest issue has been rent repayment. I know EVERYONE has been financially gutted due to this virus but 5$ would help me toward my goal. I would love to secure housing, then get to the doctor and seek counseling. Grief doesn't fade. Not like this. A moratorium doesn't fade; it abruptly ends what is left of you.  I would just like to be able to keep my home & I am in no physical or financial condition where I can move.

If anyone can help, please consider a contribution to this gut wrenching emergency, this crisis of stability, of home, health, and healing. I am honored with the success thus far, but I'm close to the end without an ending.
