As many of you may know my fiancé’s parents Louis and Melissa Meza were diagnosed with COVID-19. It started off with what everyone thought was the flu, the first symptoms showing in Louis on March 14th. After 3 trips to the ER, coughing up blood, having a hard time breathing, and non-stop fevers he was admitted to the hospital on March 23rd. He would then find out he was diagnosed with severe Pneumonia, Influenza-A, and COVID-19.  After a gruesome 6 days in the hospital he was discharged on March 28th. What was suppose to be a day of relief for the family soon turned for the worse when his wife, bestfriend, and life-long love of 29 years Melissa was admitted into the ICU on a ventilator the day of his discharge. She too was diagnosed with severe Pneumonia and COVID-19. It is now her 11th day on the ventilator and  were non-stop praying for a miracle. To make matters worse while both Melissa and Louis were suffering through their illnesses they had to put down there dog of 15 years Harllie Marie Meza on March 26th. Suffering the loss of their beloved baby girl also came with a hefty vet bill. The main reason this GoFundMe was created was to financially help two amazing people in such a tragic time. Both Melissa and Louis are some of the most amazing two people you could come across. Kindhearted, giving, and humble are just a few of the amazing words everyone uses when describing them. They are the last to ask for help but the first to help anyone who needed it. We are asking for our community to help in raising money for both their recovery (since they will be out of work for at least another month) and unforeseen bills these upcoming months. Whether its $5, $10, $20 anything helps in this unfortunate time. We also ask for as many prayers to heal Melissa and bring her back home to us and to pray for a easy and speedy recovery for the Meza family. #MezaStrong
