COVID-19 and mental health relief

While COVID-19 continues to alter our daily lives, quieter pandemic flourishes. Millions, especially students, have struggled with their mental health ever since the COVID pandemic began. Such struggles include developing depression, anxiety, and sleeping disorders…etc.

Families are dealing with quarantines, economic ruin, and losing loved ones. Parents are overwhelmed with too much to handle during the day with their jobs, schooling their children, and housework. Domestic violence is also on the rise and suicide rates are higher than ever. Everyone is hurting right now in one way or another. This is how Covid-19 has turned our lives upside-down. Many people, especially our youth are turning to illegal drugs to cope. Mental health trauma is on the rise and is going to last a very long time.

Iman network is a non-profit organization committed to solving issues relating to mental health and addiction struggles in the local and greater community. We use individualized treatment to address mental illnesses, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders while treating the person as a whole and indivisible entity. Our perspective is that it is impossible to treat the mind and behavior, without taking the client’s physical health, spirituality, and religion, lifestyle, environment, relationships, etc. into consideration.

Iman Network promotes a lifestyle that positively impacts society. All services are delivered in a safe environment with the highest quality of care. Iman Network provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families rooted in respect. We support our clients’ ability to make meaning of their lives. Sometimes we work with our clients to create a whole and balanced identity in a fragmented world, other times the focus is on relationships or getting back to that core sense of purpose in life. Our professional services are offered at affordable rates. We have numerous services: residential, outpatient, and virtual to fit the varied needs of our community. Among our techniques include individual therapy, group therapy, mentorship, and life coaching. Iman network’s plan of care ensures that any person struggling with mental health will receive the best possible treatment, and one that is made for them specifically.

We need your help to help those who are struggling with mental health and addiction. Donations will help the Iman network continue to serve the community and gain access to better resources. Our fundraising goals include continuing to provide emergency care to those who need it, reaching more members of our community through outreach and publicity, and building an in-patient and out-patient facility.
