Funeral & Medical Expenses for Fernando Martinez

Donation protected
Fernando Martinez (56) was a hard-working man and was living the American Dream.  He would always say,  "never give up on your dreams."  His dream came true in August of 2020 when he became a first-time homeowner. He moved to Temecula, CA. with his wife Ernestina Martinez (48), daughter Michelle (19), son Augusto (17), daughters Adriana (11),  Angelica (9), Alicia (5). He devoted his time to his family and wanted the best for them.

On January 13, 2021, he was admitted to Temecula Valley Hospital with COVID Pneumonia. Fernando Martinez (56) was diagnosed with Pulmonary Embolism which is an after-effect of COVID-19. He continued to struggle to recover on the lung bypass machine. After 20 days in the hospital, Fernando Martinez (56) was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). He had spent 32 days in ICU with doctors stating he has a lot of lung scarring which makes it hard for Fernando to recover from the after-effects of COVID-19. While he was in ICU, Fernando Martinez (56) remained sedated and his muscle mass deteriorated while oxygen saturation dropped to 40%.  Fernando (56) remained in the hospital with little hope of survival according to the doctors.

Friday, March 26, 2021, at 11:52 pm, Fernando Martinez passed away at Temecula Valley Hospital.  His family grieves during these difficult times and struggles financially with medical bills.  Fernando Martinez (56) will be cremated followed by a religious ceremony.  Maria (26) Fernando's daughter will be in charge of the cremation and funeral expenses.

Any donation is welcomed during these hard times on the Martinez family.
